In January 2008 Nottingham
Youth
Dance
enters
its
6th
season,
working
with
3
choreographers,
Regina
Wielingen,
Jodie
Johnson
&
Artistic
Director
Jamie
Thomson.
The
dancers
will
rehearse
each
Saturday
beginning
8th
January
until
their
performances
at
the
Sandfield
Theatre,
Nottingham
on
Saturday
26th &
Sunday
27th April.
In the second phase of
their
2008
season
NYD
will
embark
on a
week
long
tour
of
the
East
Midlands
in
July,
Providing
the
dancers
with
valuable
insight
into
life
as
part
of a
touring
company,
as
well
as
experience
in
the
more
technical
aspects
of
performing,
such
as
lighting
&
sound.
Dancers
will
also
assist
with
teaching
workshops
at
each
tour
venue.
NYD
is
offering
schools'
workshops
and
performances
during
July.

Finally in August the
company
will
travel
to
the
Edinburgh
Festival,
performing
at
one
of
the
most
prestigious
arts
events
in
the
world.
